Kurling is a form of the original Curling game but adapted so that it can be played indoors on any smooth, flat surface, such as a sports hall, rather than on ice.
The stones are constructed from a unique, robust rubber compound and feature a handle on top. The rubber is very durable and allows the stones to bounce off one another without damage.
Kurling stones roll very well on any flat surface, benefiting from three sets of bearings. The bearings allow for smooth, accurate shots and make for a very fun game that can be enjoyed by all ages.
There is no official court size but we would recommend playing the game on a court between 16 and 30ft in length.
This set includes 4 red and 4 blue Kurling stones in a nice carry / storage case.
Kurling was initially thought up as a sporting idea for disabled people. However, the popularity grew and Kurling has quickly became popular with able-bodied persons too, and for the first time disabled people can play with or against able-bodied people on an equal level.
