The case is made from Alder wood, stained to a darker colour, and opens to reveal a full-size board with storage trays for the Go stones. It therefore includes everything needed to play this classic game in a compact package.
The 'stones' are made from a hard, modern composition material and are 15mm in diameter (i.e. they are smaller than standard size). For some, they may be too 'fiddly' but this set should be viewed as a good quality, easily portable set that's ideal for travel.
