A Northamptonshire skittles table, in good playing condition. The manufacturer is unknown but we believe it was probably either Blacks or Peppers, the two main skittle table makers since at least the 1950s, both equally good. The final Pepper tables were made around the turn of the century and were being sold at that time for around £2000.

The table comes with a set of used boxwood pins and cheeses.

The table is in generally fine condition with a few minor/cosmetic flaws - the woodwork shows wear and tear, there is a small rip in the leather on the left hand side cushion and two or three of the holes that keep rear leather backdrop in place have failed. None of this will cause any problems during play and the table can start to be used immediately. It should last for decades with only minimal maintenance and these tables historically have held their value or increased in value so can be regarded as a safe asset.

The table can be taken apart into three sections for transport and can fit in most people carriers and probably some large estate cars - but this would need to be verified before collection and is not guaranteed.
