Aramith Screen Printed Pool Balls - 1 & 1/2 inch

These are screen-printed balls made by Aramith. Therefore, the quality of the material used is extremely good and the the density will be consistent throughout the ball.

The screen-printing method means that these balls are not recommended for heavy or frequent use of the sort sustained in pubs, Pool halls and clubs as the printing does tend to get worn away over time. However, they are a good option for home Pool tables where usage is light.

Heemskerk Sjoelbak HS-20 Dutch Shuffleboard

HS-20 Dutch Shuffleboard from Dutch brand, Heemskerk. This is a lightweight, yet sturdy, full size Sjoelbak that plays very nicely and is robustly constructed. The Heemskerk HS-20 features scoring gates marked with brass nails and a rich colour playing surface and contrasting lighter colour sides.

The sides, gate and barrier beam are made from Plywood whilst the playing surface has a veneer plate finish. The lighter materials used allow you to enjoy a shuffleboard for a very reasonable price, making it perfect for home use.

This Dutch Shuffleboard is supplied with a full set of 30 tournament (concave) Sjoelen discs. Heemskerk has been one of the leading brands for Dutch Shuffleboard, also known as Sjoelen and Billard Hollandaise, for decades.

Masters Premium League-Size Bar Skittles

This version of bar skittles is constructed to Masters Traditional Games design. Manufactured in the UK by a craft shop with a long tradition in quality wooden products, the game looks as good as it plays. Our league bar skittles is beautifully made and a pleasure to play.

Table skittles or bar skittles is a classic and one of the most popular indoor pub games. Just like full-alley skittles, each player has three attempts to knock down the skittle pins. The ball is swung around a pole toppling the skittle pins upon its return (it shouldn't go around twice so don't forget to catch it on the way back!). If you knock them all down after 1 swing (a floorer) or 2 swings (a stack), they are reset so the theoretical maximum score in one turn is 27 but like all pub games, that level of play takes some practice and to begin with you'll do well to score 9.

A game of great skill for pubs and pub leagues or straight-forward, brilliant fun at home for all ages.

This is a full-size league standard bar skittles game consisting of a beech frame surrounding, a baize-covered base and nine ash skittle pins that have been hand-turned in England. The ball is solid beech and is suspended from an ash pole.

You can keep score in any way you like - pen and paper is fine. However, for leagues, we stock a specially designed league skittles blackboard. Alternatively, many people like to use a cribbage board as a scoreboard - we have an extensive range of cribbage boards to choose from.

This game is suitable for pubs, clubs, fairs, events and competitions as well as for casual use at home.

 

Heemskerk Folding Dutch Shuffleboard (HS-40 Sjoelbak)

The folding Heemskerk Dutch Shuffleboard is a two-piece hardwood Sjoelbak that's identical to the HS-40 tournament board, but with a hinged central crosspiece. It is therefore much more portable than the normal boards and much easier to store.

The folding HS-40 Sjoelbak has a sustainable African hardwood frame and a marine ply playing surface. It plays exceptionally well, is very durable and robustly screwed together, and is supplied with 30 tournament (concave) discs. Heemskerk has been one of the leading brands for Dutch Shuffleboard, also known as Sjoelen and Billard Hollandaise, for decades.

Please note that there is a tiny lip where the two halves join - the front half being positioned very slightly higher than the rear half for practical reasons, but this does not affect the play.

Made to a very high standard in Britain, this is a set of 9 Bristol style Skittle Pins, each measuring 10 x 4.5 inches. The pins are expertly turned from laminated Rubberwood with incredibly strong bonds between the timber making them very robust.

These Bristol pins are made to our own specification and are not available anywhere else. We also hold stock of all our Rubberwood Skittle Pins (they are not made to order) so that they are available for immediate dispatch - they do not take weeks to manufacture like others on the market.

The Skittle Pins are suitable for heavy / intensive use in pubs and leagues.

Bristol style Skittle Pins are great for fetes and pub fun as well as more serious Skittling. They measure 10 inches high and are distinguished by the bulge around the centre of each pin.

Some pubs and leagues have sets of Skittles with a Fattie Annie. This is a type of kingpin which is the same size as the other pins but marked in some way to make it stand out. Sometimes the top is painted but usually it just has a line marked around its centre - customers normally just put some white tape or paint around the middle.

In pubs, the 4.5 inch pins are usually played with 4.75 or 5 inch diameter balls; 5 inch pins tend to be played with a 5 inch ball.

Masters Classic Pin Bagatelle Game - With Spring Plunger & Brass Pins

Our classic, full-size Pin Bagatelle game. With a robust wooden construction, quality spring plunger and sprung pin, the classic Bagatelle plays exceptionally well and is far superior to compact-size versions and cheaper imitations of this traditional favourite.

The Masters Classic Bagatelle features metal pins to delineate scoring areas and obstruct the steel balls. This also provides the nostalgic and satisfying clinking noise that is synonymous with Bagatelle. The pin layout has been designed to our specification based on a classic design and provides plenty of scoring opportunities, unpredictable obstacles and other fun game-play twists.

Our board is full-size, measuring 71 x 35cm, and is finished in a brown gloss with clear white numbering and gold painted scoring holes. Ringing the Bull - Hook & Ring Game

Masters Games is proud to bring you what we believe is the only commercially available version of Ringing the Bull.

Ringing the Bull, a traditional game which probably goes back to the middle ages, can still be found in the occasional pub right across England. A version of it is also played around the Caribbean where it is known as 'Bimini Ring'. Originally, the game was played with a real bull's head for a target - our version is slightly less realistic but is still a highly diverting pastime.

The idea couldn't be simpler - you swing a ring on a string across the room at a hook embedded in the wall. It's harder than it looks but practice makes perfect and the ring makes a decidedly satisfying 'clunk' when you manage to hit the target. Players take turns and the person with the most 'ringers' wins - or maybe the person with the least buys the drinks...

For pubs, it's a good talking point and locals can take the game quite seriously - you could organise the occasional competition. For people at home, it is a superb ice-breaker at parties and no-one can walk past without having a quick swing.

Our new improved version of the game looks great and is the solid, well-made product that you would expect from Masters Traditional Games.

IMPORTANT: The target wall needs around twelve feet of clear space in front of it; the ceiling needs to be around eight or nine feet high although a support could be hung from higher ceilings.
