Folding Bagatelle Table - North Yorkshire
Here is a beautiful old antique Victorian/Edwardian folding boards that has been restored and is therefore a highly desirable item, indeed. This one is the biggest of all such folding tables - a massive 9 feet long when unfolded which is as long as some of the free-standing slate-bed tables. The table is made from solid Mahogany with inlaid scoring strips along each side and is now a gorgeous article.
SOLD - October 2014
The table has a lock which no longer works and it is also missing scoring pegs and one of the brass catches. The scoring pegs are almost always missing on these tables and matchsticks or cribbage pegs can be used instead. It was missing the wooden panel to fill the open end when the table is folded but a replacement has been carefully made as part of the refurbishment of the table. The table comes with modern cues and also sufficient balls to play all known Bagatelle games. The cups are all original.
