Jelks Bar Billiards Table - refurbished / restored
Masters Traditional Games works with a restoration company who have been restoring and refurbishing Jelks Bar Billiards tables for decades. Jelks were one of the two main manufacturers of Bar Billiards tables from the 1930s to the 1970s and their slate-bed tables are extremely well-made and beautiful to look at. We try to ensure that at least one Beech with Oak trim Jelks table (as pictured) with a standard green baize and timer configured for 'free play' is available for immediate delivery. Alternatively, customers can specify particular requirements for their bar billiards table although this will extend the lead time significantly. For example instead of the standard green, you could choose a blue cloth. Some people have a need for the woodwork to be stained to match an existing room or other furniture and such requirements can sometimes be accommodated within reason. Timer mechanisms are configured for freeplay by default but they can be configured for a specific coin at extra cost. The pictures on this page are examples of Jelks Bar Billiards tables that have been reconditioned in the past. These tables are always well-made solid wooden tables with a slate bed but age, timber and style may vary. In particular for Jelks, there are two styles of leg - round or three-penny bit (hexagonal). The pictures show both styles. Click on the pictures for a larger version. If you are interested in obtaining one of these stunning old tables restored to your specfication, please contact us. If possible give us an indication of your requirements based on the following criteria and we can see what will suit you best from the available stock.

Price £3750 not including delivery. Tables can be collected or for a delivery quote, please send your full delivery address with postcode. It is possible to ship overseas although this can be expensive - tables are first crated and then sent with a freight forwarding service. Or customers are welcome to arrange to crate and/or collect with their own freight forwarder. As an example a typical shipment to the USA will probably cost in excess of a thousand pounds including crating and customs fees.
