A beautiful old Jelks Bar Billiards table in amazing condition.

The table is robust made from solid wood while still maintaining an old fashioned elegance. Tables made by Jelks are generally considered to be the best looking and most robust Bar Billiards tables ever made. This one was probably made in the 1930s. Bar Billiards tables of this ilk tend to hold or increase their value over time and can serve to greatly enhance the look of a room.

This table comes with the following:

• A set of Bar Billiards Balls
• A simple 2 player scoreboard (not the original scoreboard)
• 4 wooden mushrooms - 1 black and 3 red
• 4 cues
• A4 sheet of rules
• A cube of chalk
• Timer set to freeplay - no coin required to pull the bar that starts the game

The condition of the table could be described as 'ex-showroom'. It's in terrific shape with fully working timer. The pictures tell most of the story but to be clear, minor cosmetic flaws include:

• the cloth once ironed is near perfect but does show signs of use,
• 1 leg is perhaps faded slightly more than the others
• there are several small scratches in the woodwork.

Usually we refurbish old tables but in this case the table is in such good condition, we are not doing so unless requested. Our refurbishers are on hand to make the table immaculate if you wish - for an additional cost of £320 + VAT, they will replace the cloth, and restore and repolish the woodwork.
