Powder for disk sliding games
Many disk-sliding games require a powder or lubricant to ensure that the disks glide smoothly across the surface of the board. The best-known games that need powder are Carrom, Crokinole and Table Shuffleboard but there are other games such as Weykick Ice Hockey, Pucket, Shuffle-puck (disk hockey), Pitrush and even Dutch Shuffleboard. Powders can be made from micro-plastic particles or natural ingredients such as potato starch but whatever your choice, all of the lubricant powders mentioned on this page will immediately reduce the force needed to slide the disks by a considerable amount and make your disks glide super-easily across any game board.

A 500g tub of Capo Fast-speed Shuffleboard Wax. Designed for use on Shuffleboard Tables, but also works very well on Crokinole Boards. Manufactured using a secret formula but thought to contain a blend of silicone beads, polystyrene and corn particles.
Sprinkle on your Crokinole Board, Dutch Shuffleboard, Table Shuffleboard or Carrom board to improve disk slide and speed up your shots. The cap has sprinkle holes for convenience.

This powder, made from Potato starch, is targeted at the market for Carrom games. It's also great for Crokinole and other disk sliding games including Uber Games Shuffle-puck disk hockey game.
It should be equally useful for slate Shove Ha'penny boards although most wooden Shove Ha'penny boards don't require it. We don't recommend powder for Shove Ha'penny boards with lifts because the powder can clog up the grooves in the board.
Although powder isn't usually used for Sjoelbak, it should make your Sjoelbak disks slide beautifully too...
