The Championship Croquet Set is a beautifully-crafted, durable set constructed of the highest quality materials. It comes with 2 different lengths of mallets to suit players of different heights. The mallets are made from English Ash and feature rounded heads with brass protection.
The Championship Croquet Set is also supplied with exceptionally solid club style steel hoops with stability carrots and composite croquet balls as is consistent with the better croquet sets on the market. Composite balls are more durable than traditional wooden ones.
This Championship set is available in 4 different formats - in a straightforward nylon bag, in a component toolkit bag with separate compartments for each accessory (pictured here), on a wooden croquet trolley stand or in a traditional wooden croquet box (see below). The stand is supplied flat packed and is designed for light residential use only.
- 4 round headed English Ash mallets with brass protection and octagonal English Ash leather-bound handles
- 2 x 97cm (38") mallets with handles 24cm (9 1/2") x 6cm (2 1/4")
- 2 x 87cm (34") mallets with handles 24cm (9 1/2") x 6cm (2 1/4"), all weighing approximately 3lbs each
- 4 16oz composite balls 9cm (3 5/8") in diameter
- 6 Steel professional hoops with carrot (16mm diameter) 51cm (20") high, 10cm (4") wide
- Hoops dipped to 21cm (8") to leave regulation 30cm (12") above ground
- 1 Hoop "smasher" mallet with rubber head (important as the rubber protects the hoops)
- 4 Corner flags with metal poles
- 4 Coloured croquet clips
- 1 Hardwood Centre peg with topper - - 3cm (1 ½") diameter, 56cm (22") high
- 1 Hoop Drill (to create the carrot holes for the club hoops)
Please note that if you order the set with the wooden stand, the stand comes flat-packed and will require simple assembly.
