Formula D is the action-packed game of Formula 1 and road races. In essence, a race game governed by the roll of the dice but with plenty of additional complexity. Watch your speed around the bends, be careful of other drivers and collisions and don't blow your engine as you race across numerous exciting circuits. For up to 10 players, Formula D (and the expansions) is a fun filled game for family and friends to enjoy that is simple to learn and has lots of re-play value.

The reversible board and two maps are nicely illustrated and all the included components enhance the appeal of the game. Full instructions are included, with simple instructions also enclosed for quick start races.
Simple race games often hold little re-play value but Formula D does feature a good deal of complexity and, although luck is involved with the roll of the die, decision making and strategy do play a part in the race. For example, players must decide which gear - and subsequently which die to roll - to take corners and must avoid over-shooting the bends to avoid damaging their cars.
The rules also include the ability to customise cars, add Slip-streaming rules and road debris, and change tire types to modify distance rolls. There are also variations for a single lap race, or multiple laps with pit stops to repair damage points.

The Hockenheim racetrack biennially hosts the German Grand Prix where Formula 1 racers from around the world compete on this technically difficult track. Now you can join them as you push yourself through the Nordkurve and manage the incredibly steep hairpin turns on this world-famous and historic track.
If you prefer your races a little less sanctioned, you’ll thrill through Valencia in an exciting street race. Weave white-knuckled through the docks, take the bridge over the bay, and careen through a construction site as you struggle for control and push your car for everything it can give you.

Designed to be one of the fastest circuits of the championship, the Formula 1 circuit of Buddh in India stretches over 5 kilometres. Be wary of its shape which favours overtaking your opponents at high speed.
If you've got nerves of steel then push pedal to the metal on the Baltimore street racing circuit and have fun alternating between braking and pushing your speed to the limit.
