The Giant Nylon Chess board mat is a strong chequerboard rollout mat that folds up to a small size for convenient travel and storage.
The Chess mat is robust and has eyelets around the edge so that it can be secured to the ground preventing a breeze from rucking up the corners. It will fit chess pieces for which the king is around 2 feet (60cm high) or draughts / checker pieces around 25cm diameter.
The mat is designed as a temporary and transportable solution and is not designed to be left out permanently or during very cold or inclement weather.
Please note that the light squares are more of a cream colour than white.
