The Pawns are depicted by aggressive archers with their bows drawn, likewise the Knight is ready to battle. The posture of the King and Queen indicates their unquestionable leadership and the Bishop reveals his consideration for the imminent battle.
The included chessboard is just as impressive and the perfect accompaniment to the stunning chessmen. Raised on 4 ornate metal feet, the hand-finished 44 cm brass board features black and white squares with an attractive gold border around the play-field.
