Pachisi is an ancient game from India from which the modern games of Ludo and Parcheesi are derived. Masters Traditional Games are pleased to bring you an authentic version of this fascinating game in the genuine Indian style - with a cloth Pachisi board and beehive shaped pieces. A great game that is more skilful and fun than Ludo. The game is also known as Chaupad, Chaupur or Chopat and goes back centuries. These games are crafted by local women in NGOs in the Rajasthan province of India. They make two variants of the board - one in bright red with gold stitching and the other with colourful circles on every playing square.

You can choose to play with either of two forms of ancient dice - 2 long dice or 6 cowrie shells - both included with the game. The cloth board is a nice large size together with the chunky beehive shaped pieces which makes for a satisfying experience.
