Decorative Folding Chess Board manufactured in the UK by Berkeley Chess. The board is made from resin and the dark squares feature patterns that provide a vintage look and feel. The decorative squares match up perfectly with the Isle of Lewis Chess Sets that inspired this board, however, they do of course pair up beautifully with other Chess Sets of relevant size.

Each square measures approximately 2 inches (2.5cm) and suits a King size in the 3-4 inch range. The overall size of the board is 42 x 42 x 1.25cm and 42 x 21 x 2.5cm when folded.

The underside of the board is lined with a black felt and features 4 rubber feet, helping to protect the table that the Chess game will be played upon.

Please note that due to the hand-crafted nature of this board, the two sides may not always be absolutely perfectly aligned when set up, though this is not really noticeable.
